I was trained in R-TEP a few years ago but didn't use it frequently enough to remember all the steps in the right order. So while prepping for a specific session one day, I made myself a brief 'cheat sheet' which I used for a number of years. Last winter our TRN (TRN Westchester - New York) organized a review for R-TEP trained clinicians which I co-led with colleagues. I brought my sheet, showed it around and people attending the event thought it would be helpful too. Supportive colleagues suggested I reach out to Elan Shapiro and Brurit Laub, developers of the R-TEP protocol. They too were enthusiastic and included Maria Masciandaro and working together numerous revisions and edits were made. And now we have the R-TEP Step by Step Quick Guide. We wanted it to be simple, clear and information packed. And we think we've succeeded. We hope you agree and find this tool to be a useful reminder of the protocol steps whenever it is needed.
